MOVEANDPARCEL.EU - SHIPPING CONDITIONS
Please read the following carefully!
1. DESCRIPTION OF OUR SERVICES
1.1. The Shipper (B-TRADE CO. Dublin) carries out house-to-house shipping orders in the European Union. The exact itinerary depends on the actual pickup and delivery locations.
1.2. Our services are available in the areas and regions that are listed under the Shipping Routes menu. However, we are also available for transport in the entire EU, for price quotes, please contact us.
1.3. Prices are net prices; the default currency is EURO. As an Irish company, our services in the EU are VAT-free (Value Added Tax) if the client also has an EU tax number. The exchange information on our website is only for information purposes, the actual transport fee will be calculated based on the actual daily exchange rate of the EURO.
1.4. The time of delivery is between 1-7 days, depending on the distance of the sender/ addressee.
1.5. There are 3 ways to pay for our services:
- In advance: you can pay the shipping agent in cash at the time of pickup. (USD, EU, GBP, HUF),
- Afterwards: you can pay the shipping agent in cash at the time of delivery. (USD, EU, GBP, HUF),
- bank transfer: this payment option is only available for small or large businesses.
2. TO PLACE/ CANCEL AN ORDER
2.1. Shipping orders are placed through the Internet (www.moveandparcel.eu) and the Sender gets a copy of the Shipping Agreement and Receipt through email.
2.2. By placing a shipping order, Sender and Shipper enter into a legal contract.
2.3. To cancel an order is free of charge through the internet before 5 days of the Current Shipping Plan's start date. The late cancellation fee is 20 Euro.
2.4. The Shipper reserves the right to change the shipping arrangement if necessary.
2.5. If you place an order over the telephone, an extra 10 Euro administration fee will apply.
2.6 An additional 0.3 Euro / kilometer kilometer fee will apply if the package pickup location or drop off point is not on Irfutar normal transport route.
3. PACKAGE PICKUP
3.1. The time of pickup is determined by the Shipper during the Actual shipment plan period, between 0-24 hours. This is due to the fact that our vans deliver and pick up packages according to their geographical locations. Due to different traffic conditions, the exact arrival of the van cannot be determined in advance. Therefore, we always call the sender and the recipient a few hours prior to arrival in order to arrange the meeting.
3.2. The Shipper collects the package from the Sender only after the confirmation and signing of a copy of the Shipping Contract. The price calculated at the time of order can be modified at the time of pickup, see point 3.9.
3.3. The Sender is required to provide all necessary information and also required to inform the Shipper about any special shipping conditions that applies to the given package.
3.4. Any damage incurred by filling out the Shipping Contract incorrectly is the responsibility of the Sender.
3.5./a Ireland, United Kingdom, France, Benelux countries, Germany, Austria: The Shipper collects the package for transport in an unopened, intact state without examining the content of the package and delivers it to the Sender in an unopened, intact state without examining the content of the package.
3.5/b Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Western Transylvania (Romania): The shipper collects the package in an undamaged, intact state only after examining the content of the package.
3.6. To verify the pickup, the 3rd copy of the Shipping Contract - signed by both parties- will remain with the Sender.
3.7. The Shipper reserves the right to change the shipping arrangement if necessary.
3.8. The Shipper is obligated to warn the Sender if the packaging does not comply with shipping regulations or the packaging is damaged. If the Sender does not take care of the packaging sufficiently, the Sender will take a note of that on the bill of freight and this will void all further complaints. In extreme cases, the Shipping Agent can refuse to ship the package!
Packaging recommended by the Shipper: box, luggage, sport bag.
The Shipper refuses to ship any shipment without proper packaging or shipment that is packaged in plastic thrash/ garbage bag - no exception.
Proper packaging is provided by the Shipper for 10 Euro/ package in case of the sender's prior written request.
3.9. During pickup our carriers and shipping agents can modify the calculated price depending on the weight and size of the package. A 1m3 package will need to have a weight of at least 75kg. If this is not the case, our shipping agent will calculate the price based on the volume (cubic capacity) of the package in accordance with the following: 1m3 = 250EU.
3.10. For health and safety reasons, the maximum weight for a single package is 30 kg.
3.11.We are accepting orders continuously but sometimes it can happen that our van gets full. In that case, the package will be scheduled to be shipped at the next shipment and the client will be notified by email.
3.12. It is complusary to provide the content of the package because it will go through extensive customs check.
4. DELIVERY
4.1. The time of pickup is determined by the Shipper during the Actual shipment plan period, between 0-24 hours. 4.2. The Shipper hands the package to the Addressee only after complying with the general and/or specific procedures stated in the Shipping Agreement (collecting of fees/ charges and signature).
4.3. The Shipper allows for a content examination of the package in case the packaging is damaged and the records of that will be documented for damage claims.
4.4. To verify the delivery, 3 copies of the Shipping Agreement is signed by both parties.
5. SHIPPING INSURANCE
5.1. The Shipper offers damage insurance from the time of pickup to the time of delivery.
The Shipper provides Damage Reimbursement for any damage inflected upon the package because of negligence or carelessness, including partial/ complete loss or destruction of package.
5.2. The maximum value limit for shipping insurance is 2,000 EUR. In case of damages, the compensation is half of the package's value that was provided by the sender.
5.3. Shipping Insurance fee is based on the value of the packages: for every 200 EUR in value, the insurance fee is 15 EUR.
5.4. Damage claim over 1000 Euro is reimbursed as follows: 50% in cash and 50% in services.
6. UNSUCCESSFUL DELIVERY
6.1. In case of unsuccessful delivery, if the Addressee is not to be found at the given address, the Shipper has the right to leave the location. The fee for every consecutive attempt to re-deliver the package is 50% of the original shipping charges for the given package.
6.2. In case of unsuccessful delivery - e.g. the Addressee refuses to accept the package - the Shipper has the right to return the package to the Sender.
7. SHIPMENT CONTENTS
7.1. The Sender takes all legal responsibility for the content of the package.
7.2. The fee for any nonstandard package not listed on our price list is in a one-by-one basis.
7.3. The Shipper charges 20% excess fee for oversized package.
7.4. The Shipper do not transport any flammable, explosive, perishable, infectious, repulsive substances; along with firearms, explosives, human remains, exceptionally valuable material, alcohol/ tobacco/ petroleum products in great quantities, or any illegal or dangerous substance or material.
8. ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
8.1. Pre-financing: Our company offers pre-financing of the price of a product. The package will be shipped to its destination and an additional fee will apply which will be based on the amount that was pre-financed. Standard fee is 5% + the shipment fee.
8.2. Boxes: We are able to provide boxes for the items you want to ship if needed.
8.3. Administrative fee: If your order was placed over the phone, in a text message or in an email and not on our automated website, an additional administrative fee will apply.
8.4. Additional kilometers: An additional kilometer fee will apply if the package pickup location or drop off point is not on our normal transport route.
9. PRIVACY POLICY
9.1. According to the privacy protection act we would like to inform you the way MOVEANDPARCEL handles any personal data collected on our website.
9.2. We respect your right to privacy. Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Any information you give to MOVEANDPARCEL will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented. A more detailed explanation about how we care for your personal information is described below. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know.
9.3. Resale or disclosure of information to third parties. MOVEANDPARCEL does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including our email lists and memberships.
9.4. Browser information collected on the Web site. As with any Web site operator, MOVEANDPARCEL analyzes our Web site logs to constantly improve the value of our Web site. Our Web site logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.
9.5. Privacy of our email lists. MOVEANDPARCEL maintains an email list to keep interested individuals informed about the latest news and our current services. Individuals must affirmatively request to join our mailing list. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the email addresses on our list to anyone. In addition, we configure our list server software to refuse and to divulge the email addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized MOVEANDPARCEL staff, including other list subscribers.
